Without a rigorous MRV framework, these biodiversity credits won't hold up in a professional market. Intent is good, but the technical specs for the reporting are where this succeeds or fails.

Interesting to see the UN join the Global Biodiversity Alliance. It adds some international legitimacy, but I want to see the actual financing mechanisms for the village level conservation. Coordination meetings are one thing, actual cash flow to the forest protectors is another.
