The math on the savings looks a bit too clean. 83k in savings over 20 years for an 18k spend is a decent return, but it depends entirely on the projected electricity price hikes in Guernsey. Do we know the assumed annual inflation rate for their power costs?
Good point on the costs. I am more curious about the roof. It is a protected building, so they are claiming no change to the fabric. Usually, that means a ballasted system instead of penetrating the roof membrane. If they can avoid structural work, the 18k price tag makes sense.
