Guangdong province has released its 15th Five-Year Plan for 2026 to 2030, placing the Greater Bay Area at the center of its economic strategy. The plan introduces 22 key indicators to track progress in innovation, economic growth, and sustainability. A major focus of the new roadmap is green and low-carbon development. The province aims to coordinate with Hong Kong and Macao to build an innovation hub that balances a 5 percent annual GDP growth target with environmental goals.
