Groupe Beneteau has cut its CO2 emissions intensity by 26% since 2022 across all scopes, according to its 2025 annual report. The boatbuilder is targeting a 30% reduction by 2030. Key moves include a joint venture with Fountaine Pajot called E-LEKTRA MARINE to develop an open standard for electric propulsion, aiming for 10 to 15% adoption in the global sailing market by 2030. On materials, Beneteau produced 4,400 parts from hemp fibers in 2025 and is rolling out Elium recyclable resin. The Excess 11 is the first production multihull built with that resin. An industrial alliance with Arkema, Composite Recycling, Owens Corning, Chomarat, and Veolia is working toward a closed-loop system for composite scrap. The company also runs a refit program targeting 30 to 40 vessels per year and had 1,010 subscribers for self-service boats in 2025.
