Groundwork BioAg has partnered with Syngenta to commercialize mycorrhiza-based products that improve soil health and generate carbon credits. Syngenta will market the products under its own label, initially targeting corn, soy, cereals, and sunflower crops in Latin America and Europe. Farmers using the products can access a revenue stream from carbon credits while enhancing crop resilience. Groundwork BioAg handles manufacturing, supply, digital tooling, and carbon program development. The partnership builds on Groundwork's Rootella mycorrhizal inoculant and Rootella Carbon program, which delivers verified, durable carbon dioxide removal at agricultural scale. The deal provides commercial validation for the technology and is expected to generate significant revenue for farmers and Groundwork over the next few years.
