GreenLine Mobility is expanding its partnership with Tata Steel by deploying LNG powered trucks at the Meramandali facility in Odisha. This move aims to reduce the carbon footprint of long haul road logistics in the steel sector, moving away from traditional diesel reliance. GreenLine currently operates over 1,000 LNG and EV trucks, claiming a reduction of 24,000 tonnes of CO2. The company plans to scale this to 10,000 vehicles and establish 100 refueling and charging hubs to target a total annual reduction of 1 million tonnes of carbon emissions.
