Green Carbon Co., Ltd. to Showcase AWD Rice at Saha Group Fair & Fest 2026 in Thailand

Green Carbon Co., Ltd., a climate-tech company focused on nature-based carbon credits, will exhibit at the Saha Group Fair & Fest 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, from June 25 to 28, 2026. The event, which is expected to attract over 200,000 visitors, will feature a consumer-oriented sales demonstration of rice produced by farmers participating in Green Carbon's Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) project. AWD is a water management technique that reduces methane emissions from rice paddies while potentially maintaining or improving crop yields. Through this demonstration, Green Carbon aims to assess consumer interest, price acceptance, and marketability for environmentally conscious agricultural products. The company also seeks to explore a new agricultural model where farmers, companies, and consumers collaborate. Green Carbon Thailand Ambassador Ryota Moisture will help promote the initiative at the event. The company plans to use insights from this demonstration to expand into additional sales channels, B2B partnerships, and build a value chain that combines cultivation data, traceability, and environmental impact data to support sustainable agriculture and farmer income in Thailand.
