Gravity is a carbon and energy management platform that combines automated data collection, carbon accounting, and an Energy Management Marketplace to help companies move from reporting to action. In an interview with Pulse 2.0, co-founder Jay Ruckelshaus explains how the platform reads utility bills and invoices directly, integrates with over 9,000 utility providers, and surfaces cost-saving opportunities across solar, storage, demand response, and efficiency projects. The company reports that its customers have already generated over $20 million in energy savings through marketplace-enabled projects. McCarthy, a construction firm, processed 39,000 pages of invoices with Gravity, while steel processor Lerman Enterprises identified over $281,000 in annual savings within weeks. Gravity raised a $13 million Series A in January 2025 and claims 400% year-over-year revenue growth, with 60% of customers switching from other providers.
