Gower College Swansea adds green energy courses in wind, carbon capture, hydrogen, and high voltage
walesonline.co.ukGower College Swansea has added four part-time courses aimed at green energy jobs in southwest Wales. They cover wind turbine electrical maintenance, carbon capture, hydrogen safety, and high voltage authorisation for freeport industries. The courses are short, mostly Level 3, and designed for people already in trades who want to move into renewables, plus employers who need to upskill current staff. The training is part of a four-college skills alliance with NPTC Group of Colleges, Pembrokeshire College and Coleg Sir Gar, funded by Medr. It is aligned with the Celtic Freeport project. Learners may get up to 50% off course fees through the Skills for the Workplace project. For anyone looking for a practical route into wind, hydrogen, carbon capture, or industrial electrical work, these courses offer a direct entry point. More details are available from the college.
