GNT EXBERRY plant-based colors get ISO 14067 verified carbon footprint methodology
asiafoodbeverages.comGNT, maker of EXBERRY plant-based food colors, says TUV SUD has verified its Product Carbon Footprint methodology against ISO 14067. The cradle-to-gate calculations cover emissions from agriculture, production energy, and transport for each coloring ingredient. That gives food and beverage brands data they can use in sustainability reports and scope 3 disclosure, without building the calculation from scratch. Verification of the method is not the same as a certified low carbon claim on the product. Buyers should still check system boundaries and allocation assumptions before comparing PCF figures across suppliers. GNT also notes its corporate emissions reporting covers scopes 1 to 3 under the GHG Protocol.
