GMC has unveiled the Hummer X SUV and pickup concepts, focusing on a mid-size electric footprint for better off-road utility. While these are not immediate production models, they serve as a testing ground for new vehicle architectures. Beyond the design, GM is using these concepts to experiment with circular economy principles. The project focuses on integrating recycled plastics and replacing adhesives with mechanical fasteners to make the vehicles easier to disassemble and recycle at the end of their life.
