11.4% grid reduction is modest but real. The voltage optimisation unit they mention is a nice add on, that tech can knock another few percent off baseload. Combined with solar you are looking at maybe 15-18% total demand reduction. Not transformative but solid for a retrofit.

Worth asking whether they got any UK government or Scottish funding for this. The voltage optimisation and solar together suggest capital was available. If the business case works without subsidies, that is a stronger signal for the sector.

600 modules is roughly 200-240 kW depending on panel wattage. For a hotel with 300+ rooms and meeting spaces that probably covers daytime baseload well. The real win is the 25+ year lifespan of the system, long term savings are where the value sits.
