Glasgow 2026 has announced that its main venues, including Scotstoun Stadium, the Glasgow International Arena, and Tollcross International Swimming Centre, will be powered by zero-carbon electricity through a partnership with EDF. The energy supplier will provide a zero-carbon tariff that covers the Games period and continues beyond, aiming to reduce the carbon footprint of the event without requiring new infrastructure buildout. The Games are scheduled for July 23 to August 2, 2026, across an eight-mile corridor.
