Gilead Dynamics is partnering with ATS Industrial Automation to move its CBX tire recycling system into commercial deployment. The modular platform uses pyrolysis and microwave technology to convert scrap tires into recycled carbon black, oil, and syngas, targeting a carbon black purity of up to 93%. By deploying the system on mobile flatbed trailers, the companies aim to divert tires from landfills and incineration while providing a sustainable alternative to virgin carbon black for industrial manufacturing.
