Ghana's Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability, Seidu Issifu, told Parliament that the government is pushing its climate goals through the National Energy Transition Framework, the updated Renewable Energy Master Plan, and its Nationally Determined Contributions. The Minister emphasized that the transition must be just, with gender-responsive planning, protection for vulnerable communities, local job creation, and climate finance justice as central priorities. The government aims to make Ghana's low-carbon shift environmentally sustainable, economically inclusive, and socially equitable.
