Identifying 60 buildings for cooling retrofits is a start, but the real test is the payback period. If the financing isn't there to make these upgrades attractive to owners, the registry of 1,600 buildings is just a list.

GGGI is pushing the ALCBT project across five Asian countries. In India, they have trained a few thousand pros and are working with universities to change how buildings are taught. Worth watching for the actual emissions data in 2028.
