Gevo signs three-year CDR credit sale agreement with Ceezer for North Dakota BECCS project
tipranks.comGevo announced a three-year agreement with Ceezer to sell carbon dioxide removal credits generated at its North Dakota carbon capture and sequestration project. The deal covers a five-figure volume of tons through 2029 and marks Gevo's first multi-year CDR offtake agreement. Gevo says the contract supports its path toward a carbon business that generates more than $30 million in annual revenue from existing operations. Corporate buyers have been moving from one-off carbon credit purchases to multi-year agreements that lock in supply, price, and quality for high-durability removals. This deal is a small but concrete example of that trend in the BECCS space. The key question is how much of Gevo's stated revenue target is actually covered by contracted sales like this one.
