Georgia Natural Gas has reached a milestone with its Greener Life program, offsetting 1 billion pounds of carbon emissions since 2019. Over 100,000 customers participated in the initiative, which utilizes Green-e certified projects to balance the emissions from natural gas use. This scale of offsetting demonstrates the growing consumer appetite for carbon-neutral energy options in the residential sector. The program translates these offsets into tangible environmental impacts, equivalent to removing thousands of truckloads of waste from the system.
