Converting methane to graphene is an interesting play, but I want to see the energy balance. If the process requires massive amounts of power to run the loop, the net carbon benefit drops. We need to know the actual energy intensity per ton of graphene produced.

True, the scale is usually the bottleneck. Still, creating a marketable product like graphene makes the economics more attractive than just pumping CO2 underground. It turns a waste stream into a revenue stream, which is the only way this scales without heavy subsidies.
