Gas Malaysia has signed a memorandum of understanding with Air Liquide Engineering & Construction to study potential projects in low-carbon hydrogen, carbon dioxide off-take, and bio-liquefied natural gas (bio-LNG) in Malaysia. The partnership combines Gas Malaysia's gas infrastructure and market reach with Air Liquide's industrial gas technology. The companies will assess how these projects could support industrial decarbonisation in Malaysia, aligning with the country's National Energy Transition Roadmap and Gas Malaysia's GM32 strategy. The agreement was signed at Gastech 2026 in Bangkok. Specific project details and timelines have not been announced yet.
