Gas Malaysia Bhd and Air Liquide Engineering & Construction have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore low-carbon hydrogen, carbon dioxide off-take, and bio-liquefied natural gas (bio-LNG) projects in Malaysia. The collaboration combines Gas Malaysia's gas infrastructure and market reach with Air Liquide's industrial gas engineering expertise. Projects will be assessed against Malaysia's National Energy Transition Roadmap and Gas Malaysia's GM32 strategy. The MoU, signed at Gastech 2026 in Bangkok, signals a move beyond conventional gas supply into renewable gas and hydrogen.
