Operating across 17 countries and 30 sectors, FuturePlus works with clients including Google and Nestle on AI-related sustainability projects. The company focuses on making sustainability accessible by providing forward-looking scores that quantify business ambition alongside current baselines. Co-founder Alex Smith highlights challenges around AI implementation, noting that while AI can generate frameworks quickly, it cannot replace the human element needed for change management and implementation. FuturePlus plans to continue developing AI features while maintaining emphasis on certified, verified data.
