The scale is interesting. Up to one billion tonnes of CO2 storage capacity under the North Sea. That is a lot of pore space. The real question is how fast they can actually inject and whether the pipeline network gets built on time.

Fugro doing source to seabed surveys is standard for pipeline work. The hard part is the offshore installation and crossing existing cables. Saipem has done this before but the UK North Sea has a lot of legacy infrastructure to navigate.
