Frontier Infrastructure Holdings is developing an integrated carbon management system that uses rail instead of pipelines to transport captured CO2 to underground storage. This approach aims to bypass the regulatory delays and local opposition often associated with pipeline projects in the US. The project has completed a preliminary assessment with Puro.earth, allowing it to list its facilities for corporate carbon removal buyers. Additionally, a forward-purchase agreement with Wild Assets provides the project with long-term revenue visibility for its carbon dioxide removal credits.
