Fortescue is basically betting the house on physical infrastructure over accounting tricks. Moving from Net Zero to Real Zero is a huge jump because you can't just buy your way out with credits. The 2030 timeline is aggressive for heavy industry.

The real bottleneck won't be the panels, it will be the haul trucks. Charging 200 tonne vehicles without killing the battery cycle life or causing massive downtime is where this actually succeeds or fails. The infrastructure is only half the battle.
