Formula One reported a 35% reduction in its carbon footprint compared to 2018 levels, with a 12% drop from 2024 alone. The organization says it remains on track to reach net-zero emissions by 2030, driven by investments in sustainable aviation fuel, remote broadcast operations, and calendar rationalization to reduce travel between races. Travel emissions fell 27% since 2018, and F1 aims to remove more than half of its broadcast and freight from air transport by 2030. The sport has cut nearly 80,000 tonnes of CO2 from operations since the baseline year. With 22 Grands Prix scheduled this year, further reductions depend on continued logistics optimization and fuel switching.
