FlyORO and Menzies Aviation signed an MoU to deploy FlyORO's modular SAF blending technology across Menzies' global fuel network. The AlphaLite system fits in a standard shipping container and blends SAF directly into existing fuel supply chains, avoiding the need for large new facilities. The technology is already at TRL 9 and has blended over 500,000 liters commercially. Global SAF production hit about 2 million tonnes in 2025, less than 1% of jet fuel demand. IATA says SAF must supply roughly 65% of aviation's emission cuts by 2050, requiring around 449 billion liters annually. The bottleneck is shifting from production to delivery infrastructure, which this partnership directly addresses.
