Farmers for Forests (F4F) has expanded its agroforestry projects from 50 to 5,000 acres across India. Backed by Rainmatter, the startup helps farmers integrate tree cover into their land to improve soil health and create new income streams through carbon sequestration. The project is now focusing on scaling to 40,000 acres. To support this growth, F4F is working with government entities to develop carbon bonds and first-loss guarantees, ensuring farmers remain financially stable while waiting for trees to mature.
