The FairPrice Foundation has received the ESG Initiative of the Year award for The Carbon Gallery, an experiential hub in Singapore designed to teach the public about carbon footprints. The center uses interactive displays, such as a virtual supermarket, to show how daily shopping and food waste contribute to climate change. Developed with Terra SG, the gallery focuses on carbon literacy and practical ways to reduce emissions. It also features a microforest to demonstrate how natural ecosystems act as carbon sinks, bridging the gap between classroom theory and real world environmental impact.
