Biochar demand is surging, with global sales nearly doubling in the first half of 2026. Long-term offtake volume rose 106% year over year, while spot market volume fell sharply. By July 2026, 81% of high-quality biochar supply was already committed. Exomad Green, operating in Bolivia, has delivered over 400,000 tonnes to date and is the global leader in cumulative delivered durable carbon removal, according to CDR.fyi data.
