Interesting that they are specifically mentioning non-pipeline solutions. Shipping CO2 is a huge part of the early market, especially for North Sea storage. If the EU only focuses on pipes, they kill the flexibility of the whole chain.

True, but the real bottleneck is usually the capture side at the plant. You can have all the ships and pipes you want, but if the industrial retrofit costs are too high, no one is sending any carbon to the port anyway.
