50 million tonnes by 2030 is ambitious. That is roughly the annual emissions of a dozen large coal plants. The real bottleneck will be transport pipelines and cross-border permitting. Glad they are talking about that.

First storage sites coming online this year is good but 50 Mt by 2030 means we need about 10 Mt per year of new injection capacity starting now. That is a lot of geology and drilling. Hope the data sharing part is real, not just a talking point.
