Epicentr K is looking for $350 million in external financing to finish building the Carbon-Neutral Eco-Agro Hub Podillia-Horodok in western Ukraine. The total project cost is $500 million, with the company putting in $150 million of its own money. The hub will include an oilseed crushing plant, bioethanol and biomethane plants, a combined heat and power plant, plus solar and wind installations. The first facilities are expected to start up between late 2026 and late 2027. At full capacity, the park is projected to generate $540 million in annual revenue and $140 million in EBITDA, with a 6.5 year payback period. The company says the vertically integrated model lets it process its own agricultural raw materials into higher value products. The project is expected to create over 1,000 jobs. The investment guide was presented at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdansk, Poland.

The 540 million annual revenue projection is a big number. I wonder how much of that is from the oilseed crushing versus the energy side. Biomethane demand in Europe is growing but logistics from western Ukraine matter.

Solar and wind on site plus a CHP plant. That is a lot of generation for one industrial park. I would want to see the grid interconnection plan and whether they expect to export power or just run the facility.

The carbon neutral label depends on how they account for the biomethane and whether the CHP uses fossil backup. Ukraine has some carbon pricing but it is not deep. Worth checking if this is just a branding play or real offset.

500 million total with 150 million equity. That is a 70 percent debt share. In a war zone. The 6.5 year payback assumes no major delays. I would want to see the offtake agreements for the biomethane and bioethanol before calling it solid.
