Epic Group has launched the Trimetro Manufacturing Campus in Khordha, Odisha, marking India's first garment facility to achieve both net-zero carbon and net-zero water status. The 100 million USD project uses a combination of onsite and offsite solar power, biomass, and battery storage to eliminate operational emissions. The 40 acre campus is designed to produce 20 million garments annually while employing 10,000 people. The project was supported by a 100 million USD financing package from the International Finance Corporation, including sustainability linked loans to ensure the facility meets strict environmental benchmarks.
