Good point. If these are in remote areas like Holy Island, the local grid capacity for a cluster of heat pumps can be a bottleneck. Did they have to upgrade the service connection for these eight sites?

This is a decent proof of concept for historic buildings, but the real test is the subsidy structure. Without targeted grants for heritage retrofits, most owners will stick to oil because the upfront cost of these systems is too high.
