Enchant Energy and Creekstone Energy are partnering to develop a carbon capture and utilization (CCU) system for the Delta Gigasite data center in Utah. The project aims to capture CO2 from on-site power generation and convert it into low-carbon liquid fuels, bypassing the need for extensive CO2 pipeline infrastructure. This integration seeks to address the high energy and emissions demands of AI computing by turning captured carbon into a feedstock for fuel. The process also produces water as a byproduct, potentially lowering the total water footprint of the hyperscale campus.
