DP World says over 80% of UK freight moves by road, so giving hauliers a practical, low-risk way to test electric trucks is key to cutting emissions in the supply chain. The trial focuses on making the switch to zero-emission freight commercially viable. It helps hauliers understand range, charging, and operational costs before committing to purchases.
