Eden Innovations India Trials Show EdenCrete Pz7 Cuts Abrasion 28% and Boosts Strength 10-20% for Low-Carbon Concrete
smallcaps.com.auEden Innovations (ASX: EDE) reported early India trial results for its EdenCrete Pz7 concrete additive, showing a 28% reduction in abrasion for road mixes and 10-20% extra strength in high-strength concrete above 50 MPa. The trials, conducted with CRRI near Delhi, aim to reduce ordinary Portland cement and micro-silica use while increasing fly ash or slag content, lowering the CO2 footprint of concrete. The company targets two large Indian markets: transport infrastructure, with 12.2 trillion INR allocated for FY2026-27, and high-rise construction using reinforced cement concrete. Strength gains could allow ready-mix producers to rebalance expensive ingredients, improving economics and emissions profiles. However, the work remains at trial stage without final verification, pricing, or customer commitments. Further CRRI testing is scheduled, and Eden plans to expand trials in Delhi and other regions. The key question is whether these results translate into commercial sales and repeatable performance across more mixes and customers. Investors should watch for cash usage, staffing growth, and evidence that technical trials become disclosed business.
