EcoVadis and CO2 AI Partner to Improve Scope 3 Supplier Emissions Data
procurementmag.comEcoVadis and CO2 AI are combining their platforms to give procurement teams better access to supplier-specific emissions data. EcoVadis will feed its Carbon Data Network into CO2 AI's product footprinting engine, so companies can move away from industry average estimates and use primary data from suppliers instead. The partnership is aimed at Scope 3 reporting, the indirect emissions that often make up the largest share of a company's carbon footprint but remain the hardest to measure. For procurement leaders, the practical effect is clearer visibility into which suppliers and products carry the most emissions. That can support more targeted decarbonization efforts and more transparent reporting. The two companies also point to related integrations with Workiva, Carbmee, and Watershed, which suggest a broader push to connect supplier carbon data with existing reporting and management tools.
