The chemistry sounds interesting, but I do not see any actual performance data or cycle life numbers here. Does adding silver make the anode too expensive to compete with LFP for stationary storage?
If this actually helps with low-temperature discharge, it could be huge for outdoor industrial storage in colder climates. Most current batteries need expensive heating wraps to stay efficient in winter.
Sodium-ion is the right move for reducing reliance on critical minerals. The real question is whether the supply chain for these specific dopants is diversified enough to avoid the same bottlenecks we saw with cobalt.
