E-Power subsidiary Sunrise New Energy has been awarded a $294,000 provincial grant from the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission. The funding supports the Guizhou Carbon-Based Anode Material Industrial Technology Engineering Center, which focuses on the R&D and commercialization of battery materials. The project aims to accelerate the transition from lab research to industrial production for graphite, silicon-carbon, and hard carbon anode technologies. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance the supply chain for advanced battery components.
