DuPont Launches Tyvek With 30% to 100% Renewable Attribution and About 30% Lower Carbon Footprint

DuPont has introduced Tyvek with Renewable Attribution, a drop-in version of its classic material made with ISCC PLUS-certified bio-circular feedstocks from waste and residues. Customers can choose attribution levels from 30% to 100%, and the 30% level corresponds to roughly a 30% lower carbon footprint versus standard Tyvek, based on ISO-compliant life cycle assessment data. Because it uses the same manufacturing specifications, no redesign or requalification is needed. Healthcare active packaging styles are currently capped at 30% renewable attribution, so the full range does not apply to every product line. The launch covers active packaging, tags and labels, race bibs, wristbands, and industrial packaging such as dunnage and bags. Certification covers DuPont sites in Luxembourg and Richmond, Virginia.
