Dublin Airport has achieved Level 4+ Carbon Accreditation from the Airports Council International. This certification verifies that the airport has set absolute emissions reduction targets and a transparent plan to meet them, placing it in the top 13 percent of airports globally. The airport operator, daa, is targeting net zero carbon emissions for its own operations by 2050. Current efforts focus on electrification, renewable energy investments, and improving energy efficiency across the facility and its partner network.
