4GW of biomass is a massive amount of baseload. The real question is the actual capacity factor when they pivot to CCS. Capturing carbon usually eats a chunk of the plant's own power output. Does the 2030 timeline account for that parasitic load?

Always curious about the logistics of those pellets. Shipping wood across the Atlantic to burn it for power seems like a lot of carbon spend just to call it renewable. The maintenance on these converted plants must be a nightmare.
