Dr. Charudatta Mhasde of New York University has developed low-carbon geopolymer materials designed to absorb CO2. This research focuses on using these sustainable materials in additive manufacturing to reduce the carbon footprint of industrial production. By creating materials that actively capture carbon, this work addresses the emissions crisis in the construction and manufacturing sectors.
