The real challenge for ports is the massive peak load from electrified cranes and shore power. Do they have the substation capacity to handle that without hitting curtailment?

Moving 100,000 containers to rail is a solid win. Rail is almost always the better play for bulk movement if the last mile is sorted. I would like to see the actual payback period on those electric forklifts in Chile. Usually, the maintenance savings are the real driver there, not just the fuel.
