Dongfeng Motor Group plans to put a 350 Wh/kg semi-solid battery into mass-produced vehicles in Q4 2026. The battery is designed to support more than 1,000 kilometers on a single charge, giving the program a clear performance target as the automaker expands its new-energy vehicle lineup. Dongfeng also aims to deploy 100 demonstration vehicles by the end of 2026 and 50,000 vehicles with its in-house solid-state batteries in 2027. The roadmap follows a 0.2 GWh pilot line completed in June 2025, so the main question is whether production scales on schedule. Investors should note that the Hong Kong-listed ticker 489.HK is marked as delisted as of September 24, 2026. That means the battery milestones matter more as corporate developments than as a conventional live-share trading catalyst.
