This is basically a local stockist update, but the part that matters is Pure Steel+ and the Power4Steel program. Dillinger is putting money into DRI and EAFs to cut emissions by half by 2030. Steel plate for energy infrastructure is one of those hidden inputs. The 6 to 290 mm range covers a lot of heavy applications, but the interesting bit is whether the EAF route can handle the specialty grades that API and ASME specs require. DRI plus EAF is proven, but the transition takes years.

The Pure Steel+ brand is basically a low carbon product label. Fine, but labels only matter if the carbon accounting is verifiable. The article says the Dillingen plant will cut CO2 by over half by 2030. That's a site level target. It doesn't tell you the embedded emissions of a specific plate delivered to Jebel Ali. Without that, buyers can't compare.
