Dezhou Huafeng to Supply Bitumen Storage Tanks for Carbon Material and Waste Heat Recycling Project
openpr.comDezhou Huafeng Machinery has won a contract to supply liquid bitumen storage and transportation equipment for a large carbon material production project in Shandong, China. The project is designed to produce 900,000 tons per year of high-grade carbon material and includes an 820,000 tons per year waste heat steam recycling system. The core equipment is a set of 750 cubic meter bitumen storage tanks. Huafeng says the tanks use parallel thermal oil heating and internal circulation to keep temperature uniform and prevent coking. A thickened insulation layer limits temperature drop to less than 1 degree Celsius per hour when idle. The company describes the system as supporting the project's low-carbon circular design goals. No specific emissions or energy savings figures were provided in the release. The contract is a sign of growing industrial demand for high-temperature storage equipment tied to carbon material supply chains.
