Shanghai Metals Market is compiling a 2027 distribution map of low-carbon cast aluminum alloy enterprises in China, with Delta Metal supporting the project. Secondary aluminum can cut emissions by more than 90% compared with primary aluminum, which makes the map relevant to buyers looking for lower carbon inputs. The map will include company locations, main products, low-carbon qualifications, and capacity scale. Delta Metal operates five manufacturing plants and four trading companies, with annual secondary aluminum alloy capacity exceeding 800,000 tonnes across its subsidiaries and more than 1,000 product grades. It supplies automotive, appliance, furniture, and electronics manufacturers and has direct molten aluminum supply capability. The company also has a recycling network in China and partnerships with can makers for targeted scrap collection. The project is meant to connect upstream and downstream players in the secondary aluminum industry as China pushes its dual carbon strategy. The practical value will depend on how SMM verifies the low-carbon claims and whether the listed qualifications hold up under scrutiny.
